SuperAntiSpyware handles a whole load of malware, not just spyware.

Obviously the best way forward is to avoid using Microsoft software, and just upgrade to something like Linux - you won't get a single virus!
THE BEST ANTIVIRUS is to have an OS immune to it right? .... keep using windows (winblows) while i lay down here relaxed and use my linux system. when i used to be a windows user last year i used avast and at some point i used avira antivir (free edition). along side with spywareterminator.com and guess what.... im SOOOO GLAD i dont have to deal with it anymore. i think that its MICRO$OFT's duty to protect our computers. not antivirus industries. those antivirus companies shouldnt have existed in teh first place, if it wasnt for MS's neglecting their consumer base.

AntiVir from http://freeav.com is a good one and I use it myself. It is also one of the highest scoring ones in the various tests out there.
AVG is free for personal use, catches all the viruses and is updated regularly.
There isnt really one,since there are various infections from Viruses,Trojans,Spyware,Ad-ware,best to download an Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware.Also for those pesky Malware bots load Spybot S%26 D.All can be found at the website i have listed.They do have free versions but most are trial versions free for awhile.

The most virus laden computers that I have come across have AVG or other free ones on them.

The best free one that I have used is from Comodo. Their firewall rocks also.
