AVG,Symantec,Norton
AVG or NOD32. AVG is probably the better bet because it is a lot more user friendly. Both work with 32 and 64bit Vista also. Stay away from Nortons. It used to be the best but its junk now.
I have tried several anti-virus programs, and I have found one thing to be true. You should never pay for anti-virus protection. There are many options that are free that do just as good of a job. I currently use AVG Anti-Virus, and it works superbly (I haven't had virus problem for three years). I would definitely recommend it.

I have been using it now for 3 years, and I've never had any problems. Scans are fast and effective, and it is rated by many sites as the best antivirus there is. For what it does, the price is cheap.
