and you don't need all those programs for spy-ware like you do when running avast or any other free anti-virus
AVG.. or try Panda anti-virus.. then stop visiting all those.... websites that you go to that provokes so many pop ups. if it's really really bad. download "highjack this". scan it and find a forum to post it on. they'll tell you what is wrong with ur system
AVG is a good free anti-virus software. But you can also configure your browser to block pop-ups, such that it alerts you weather to allow pop-ups from a particular site or not. If you are IE just at the top below the address bar, you would see the button that enables you to block or unblock. You can also install Mozilla firefox browser, it very security conscious of pop ups and doesn't allow pop-ups disturb you.
there is a great one that my mate uses and hes a computer technician so it must be good, its called avg just do a search for it .
