AVG's pretty good. It's a good alternative to Norton whether you pay for it or not.

It's cr@p..... AVG is not perfect, but if you want a free solution, its the best.

I get Norton _free_.

I have to use it on my (work) laptop and I *could* get it free for my home desktop, paid for by my work.... I do not use Norton at home. I much prefer to have AVG.
I use Ad Aware and I think it's pretty good.
